Level 7 - Korobeiniki (Tetris Theme)

An arrangement of the main theme from the video game Tetris for Nintendo, also known as Korobeiniki (a Russian folk song) for solo piano at PlayLoveLearn Level 7. (Comparable to Level 7 Trinity, or Level 6 RCM or ABRSM). Piece includes stretches of up to a 10th in the Left Hand, requiring a pianist to learn to smoothly pivot. Some 3-note octave chords in Both Hands at the end, but otherwise no large chordal movement. Right Hand includes some melodic movement in octaves. This could be a pianist's first introduction to such figures. Quick syncopated figures occur throughout the piece.
